异构十三醇聚氧乙烯醚系列及其聚氧丙烯醚(3)封端物的构效关系研究

Structure-property relationship in the series of iso-tridecanol polyoxyethylene ethers and their derivatives terminated with polyoxypropylene (3) block

摘要:

对异构十三醇聚氧乙烯醚上的环氧乙烷数(EO数)及用3个环氧丙烷数(3PO数)对其封端后的构效关系进行了对比性研究。对不同的异构十三醇聚氧乙烯醚及3PO封端的异构十三醇聚氧乙烯聚氧丙烯醚的表面张力、临界胶束浓度、润湿性质、泡沫性质、乳化力及浊点进行了测试,发现随着EO数的增加异构十三醇聚氧乙烯醚的最低表面张力(γcmc)、临界胶束浓度(cmc)、稳泡力、起泡力、润湿时间及浊点均增大。PO封端后,相较于封端前,其表面张力增大;临界胶束浓度、稳泡力、起泡力、乳化力及浊点均降低;EO数大于9时,封端后的润湿力相较于封端之前有所提高。最终结果表明聚醚的不同结构对其性能有不同的影响。

Abstract:

The structure-property relationship of iso-tridecanol polyoxyethylene ether with different number of ethylene oxide (EO) units was studied, as well as their performance after blocking with 3 units of propylene oxide (3PO). The surface tension, critical micelle concentration (cmc), wetting properties, foam properties, emulsifying power and cloud point of iso-tridecanol polyoxyethylene ethers and 3PO-blocked iso-tridecanol polyoxyethylene polyoxypropylene ether were investigated. The results show that the minimum surface tension (γcmc), the cmc, the foam stability and the foaming power, the wetting time and the cloud point of iso-tridecanol polyoxyethylene ether are increased with the increase of the EO number. It is also found that when PO is blocked, its surface tension is increased; the cmc, foam stability, foaming and emulsifying ability and cloud point are decreased; when the EO number is greater than 9, the wetting force is increased. In summary, the structure of polyethers affects their properties.
