2025 China Surfactant Industry Conference
In 2023, the first China Surfactant Industry Conference was successfully held, announcing the establishment of China Surfactant Industry Alliance. Based on the industry conference, the Alliance will actively promote resource sharing in the surfactant industry and its upstream and downstream industries, strive to facilitate deep integration of all elements in the industrial chain, comprehensively enhance the cohesion and competitiveness of the industry, and empower high-quality development of the industry. As the final year of the “14th Five-Year Plan”, the year of 2005 symbolizes that an important stage will soon come to an end. At the time of acceptance and layout, the surfactant industry is standing at a new junction, where opportunities and challenges are closely associated. In order to further enhance the influence of the industry in the world and promote the industry to develop in a high-quality, sustainable and healthy direction, the China Research Institute of Daily Chemical and the National Engineering Research Center of Surfactants decide to hold the “2025 China Surfactant Industry Conference” in Hangzhou in April 2025 and simultaneously organize the “2025 (Third) China International Exhibition of Surfactants Industry”.
The “2025 China Surfactant Industry Conference” will continue to focus on the cutting-edge dynamics of the surfactant industry, with a particular emphasis on the development trends in the upstream and downstream areas of oleochemical industry, surfactants, synthetic detergents, industrial and public cleaning, textile printing and dyeing auxiliaries, metal processing and lubricant additives, oilfield chemicals, pesticide additives, as well as paper, leather, and food additives. With the theme of “Relying on Quality to Grow Positively”, this conference will focus on in-depth discussions on the innovation and upgrading of surfactant technology, market and downstream industries, and organize colorful events such as China Surfactant Application Technology Exchange Conference, China International Oleochemical Industry Conference, China Household and Personal Cleaning and Care Products Development Conference, China Pet Care Industry Development Conference, China Industrial and Public Cleaning Industry Conference, China Textile Printing and Dyeing Additive Technology Exchange Conference, China Metal Processing and Lubricant Additive Development Conference, and China Oilfield Chemicals Development Conference. Content: We will deeply review the development achievements of China’s surfactant industry during the “14th Five-Year” Plan period, comprehensively show the development process of the industry market from 2020 to 2024, and meticulously sort out the achievements of technological innovation and new product development, which will cover the fields from the breakthroughs in green synthesis technology to the research and development of high-performance and intelligent surfactants, and from the green, environmental-friendly and special products to the new functional products. At the same time, we will also bring together the highlights of downstream industry solutions, including those tailored for industries such as detergents, cosmetics and pharmaceuticals, so as to demonstrate their outstanding results in improving stain removal capabilities, enhancing stability and expanding application areas. On this basis, we will look forward to the demand for high-quality development of the industry in the future, have an insight into the development trends of downstream industries, and do our best to improve the development quality and level of the entire industry.

Content: Surfactants can adsorb at various interfaces and form various ordered combinations in liquid phase (even at interfaces), thus creating a series of application properties. The application of surfactants has pervasively penetrated into all fields: from aerospace to geological exploration, mining, and people’s daily life of food, clothing, housing and transportation, all of which demonstrate the role of surfactants.
