Abstract:

Tea saponin (TS) was used as the main bacteriostatic component, and fatty alcohol polyoxyethylene ether sulfate (AES) and cocoamidopropyl betaine (CAB) were used as surfactants. The formulation of bacteriostatic hand sanitizer was screened by single factor test, and the physicochemical indexes and bacteriostatic properties of the hand sanitizer were determined. The results show that the mass fraction of optimized TS hand sanitizer is composed of 15% TS, 10% AES, 20% CAB, 3% thickener 886 and 6502 (mass ratio 1∶1), 3% glycerin, 0.1% flavor, 0.2% citric acid and residual deionized water. The hand sanitizer has moderate viscosity, excellent foaming performance and good bacteriostatic performance against Escherichia coli E.coil) and Staphylococcus aureusS.aureus).
