Synthesis and application performance of long chain alkyl modified organosilicon polyether copolymer

Abstract: A long chain alkyl modified organosilicon polyether copolymer (PMGC) was prepared from side chain hydrogen containing silicone oil,1-decene and allyl polyether as main raw material by siloxane addition reaction.The structure of the product was characterized by IR and 1H NMR.The effects of hydrogen content and viscosity of the hydrogen containing silicone oil as well as 1-decene and allyl polyether molar ratio on the emulsifying ability,oil compatibility and formula skin feeling of the product were studied.Research shows that when the hydrogen containing silicone oil contains 0.4% hydrogen,the viscosity is 100 mPa·s,and n(1-decene)∶n(allyl polyether)=3∶1,the emulsifying ability and the compatibility with oil are both best.If it is applied in the BB cream formula,that cream will have optimal moisture and smooth sense.
