Abstract: The effect of stabilizers on laundry powder detergent was studied by formulating stabilizers into laundry powder detergent with bleaching activation system of sodium per-carbonate.The results from per-acid release test showed that the addition of the stabilizer can ease the decomposition level of sodium per-carbonate.The detergency performance test results showed that the addition of the stabilizer can enhance the detergency on soiled cloth with colored stains,and the color protection test showed that the addition of the stabilizer can significantly reduce the damage on color of the fabric.In case the stabilizer was composed of blend of sodium ethylenendiamino-disuccinate and sodium ethylenediamine tetra(methylene phosphonate),the detergency and the color protecting effect of the laundry powder was substantially upgraded.
