Effect of dying uniformity of protein stained swatch on detergency evaluation

Abstract: The preparation method of improved protein stained swatch (Improved JB-02) using ball mill instead of hand grinding was studied,and the quality of the Improved JB-02 was evaluated by comparison of the detergency value of standard laundry powder,market commodity laundry powder and standard laundry powder containing alkaline protease.Results show that after using the ball mill,the carbon black particle size is smaller,the particle size distribution is narrower,the dispersion uniformity is improved,and the dying levelling property of the stained swatch is improved.Furthermore,the detergency value of the standard laundry powder sample formulated with protease mass fraction lower than 0.15% becomes higher since the use of Improved JB-02.It indicates that the Improved JB-02 is more sensitive to protease and displays good storage stability.It can be considered as a standard tool for the evaluation of detergency of laundry products.
