Study on conditions for determination of lipase activity in detergent products and their effects on application result

Abstract: The activity of lipase was determined by alkali titration method and the conditions for the determination of lipase activity were studied.Results showed that the lipase activity is stable when the volume fraction of olive oil is 25% and the temperature is 40 ℃,pH=7.5.Under such conditions,the effects of adding anionic and nonionic surfactants were investigated.Results showed that effect of nonionic surfactants on the activity of lipase is less than that of anionic surfactants.Finally,the analysis method was applied to determine the activity of lipase in the commercial detergent products.Results showed that the method can be used for the determination of lipase activity in both liquid detergent and laundry powder.However,the temperature and pH value of the detergent solution should be controlled strictly during the conduction of the determination.
